POLLINATOR PROGRAM

The outcome of past pesticidal arial spraying within the Amazon Rainforest has resulted in a drastic decline of Native pollinator populations. The survival of bees, in particular, guarantees the survival of the Rainforest at large. Cultivating bees is also a lucrative economic alternative for indigenous communities living within the Amazon Rainforest. By reviving the traditional knowledge of stingless beekeeping  (Meliponiculture), and by supplying these communities with their own hives and education, we are able to repopulate native bee populations, ensuring Rainforest survival, and economical wellbeing of these indigenous communities.
