INTERCHANGE PROGRAM

The Sacred Amazonia interchange program provides opportunity for  students and field professors to study along side the elders of the Cofán community in order to document their wisdom on traditional medicines, territory (to include native plant and animal species), language, culinary practices, oral history, as well as tools, crafts and building techniques. All in our efforts to both preserve the Cofán culture, and reforest the Amazonian territories.
